“Art After Hours”
First Thursdays of Every Month Beginning in June
The Nashville Association of Art Dealers (NAAD) will launch a new program on June 4th to provide art lovers and patrons a new opportunity to explore Nashville’s diverse and growing art scene. “Art After Hours” – Nashville’s first monthly, city-wide art crawl -- seeks to elevate awareness and support for the visual arts in Nashville. On the first Thursday of each month participating galleries will remain open late from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., inviting the public to come and enjoy art after work.
Nearly 20 members of NAAD have already committed to the first “Art After Hours” on June 4th and others are expected to join the effort by the event’s launch. Participating to date are: Bennett Galleries, Cumberland Gallery, Estel Gallery, Finer Things Gallery, Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Gallery One, HA Gallery at Hanging Around, Hiram Van Gordon Memorial Gallery at Tennessee State University, LeQuire Gallery, Local Color Gallery, Midtown Gallery, Richland Fine Art, Rymer Gallery, The Arts Company, Tinney Contemporary, and Zeitgeist Gallery.
